3 Hours to New Year

December 31, 07 by -FCUK-

2008 is just 3 hours away.

I hereby, wishing my blog readers and everyone out there a happy new year. May your 2008 filled with prosperity….

End of 2007

December 30, 07 by -FCUK-

A brand new year is just around the corner. After tomorrow, it will be 2008. Time really flies. Many things have happened for me, and I am learning to go through life differently. Time is needed for changes to happen, but it will be never too late whenever there is a will to do it.

The sweet memories of 2007 should definitely be remembered, while the sad ones should be forgotten. It’s time to look forward for a fresh new start and work on the mistakes in this year in order to improve. What I am confident that is going to happen in 2008 is Feng Shui tips again due to be the 8 number, which is believed to be auspicious to Chinese.

Anyway, for pictures which I have not posted for a long time. The two photos were fireworks from the International Fireworks Competition during the Merdeka Eve. It was definitely a great experience and I need to thank Sean to telling me the way to get there. Never regret taking the trip down to watch it. Well, that’s life, a spontaneous risk never hurt in life….

Christmas Dining Promotions at G Hotel

December 23, 07 by -FCUK-

Christmas is coming. Looking for a place to dine during the Christmas or the New Year? Well, you can head down to Penang’s G Hotel (Gurney Hotel) to have their G Cafe’s Christmas buffet promotion or their 7 course dinner promotion at the Sesame Restaurant in the hotel. For those who have not been to G Hotel, do make a trip there while you are in Penang to look at the different style of interior design of the lobby. The design is something special and allow guests to have a great place to interact more. As for the rooms, I haven’t seen them, so I can’t comment anything about it.

For more information on the Christmas buffet and dinner promotion, please click here. 2 days more to Christmas….

Life Without DotA

December 22, 07 by -FCUK-

Life has been great without DotA. I haven’t been playing for around 2 months now. That made me realised that actually there are many other better things to do. With lesser DotA, I can now work on Magic or Blogging, which should be healthier than sticking in front of the computer for few hours. I have certainly wasted quite a lot of my time playing DotA, but there was no doubt that there was excitement. Time would be price to be paid for its excitement.

I’m starting to be involved in sports too - Ultimate. It is a new sport in Malaysia which, involves Frisbee and it is coming up fast. Frisbee is great to play as it is not really physical, like soccer or rugby. All you need is to run, throw, be aware and defend. This makes it easy for people of all ages to play. Plus, it gives people more choices of choosing a sport, instead of the usual soccer, basketball, hockey, etc. For more information on the sport of Frisbee, please perform a Google search for Ultimate Frisbee.

Anyway Christmas and the New Year are just around the corner and I am sure that everyone is enjoying their holidays, especially for those who are currently in big cities. This is usually the time of the year, where kids and teenagers are enjoying their holidays by hanging out and having parties, while adults are trying to clear off their annual leave by going on a holiday. Till the next post, happy holidays everyone….

Temporary Freedom

December 13, 07 by -FCUK-

Class finally finished today. Had a new experience in the new teaching block (will be posting up pictures of the new teaching block next year). Ms.Chan, Business Law lecturer, was definitely a natural speaker. I guess that is why she was chosen to perform in a stage play.

Anyway, I am free from assignments and presentation now, but it will only be temporary. Classes of the first semester has ended, but there’s still exams. What a week it has been, for me and also Magic. The hard work done for the Entrepreneurship presentation certainly paid off. It didn’t went as bad as we thought it could have been and I guess the hours of meetings really paid off.

As for Magic, a great weekend it was for every Magic players, even if they did not made it into Worlds 2007. Uri Peleg, from Israel, emerged as the Worlds 2007 champion, beating a dragonstorm deck piloted by Patrick Chapin. The Swiss team also achieved success by becoming the 2 Headed Giant champion for Worlds 2007. A great draft deck by both teams from the Swiss gave them the edge over the Austrian. However, the biggest memory for all Magic players would be the matchup between Gabriel Nassif and Patrick Chapin in the individual Semi-Final. It was certainly a classic matchup and it will totally be one of the best matches in Magic History.

You can download the Semi-Final match at the Magic Worlds website or you can watch the exciting part of the match at YouTube, which can be found here. Trust me, it would blow your mind off if you did not manage to read about the match.

Anyway, 3 weeks off from school, but will be occupied by pre-exam preparation. Will be updating my blog from time to time. Oh yeah, no Singapore around this time of the year. Guess it won’t be another trip…..

Air Supply

December 07, 07 by -FCUK-

Air Supply is absolutely wonderful. Their music are just beautiful and indescribable. Listening to their songs just makes you feel like you are in different world as they are able to ease all the sadness and disappointments of one’s life. I would really want a chance to see them live in concert. Their last concert for end of this year will be this weekend and they will be touring around US, Brazil and Canada next year. Guess it would be a miracle for me to catch them live. Anyway here are the 19 recommended songs of Air Supply:

  1. All Out of Love
  2. Because I Love You
  3. Even the Nights are Better
  4. Every Woman in the World
  5. Goodbye
  6. I’ll Never Get Enough of You
  7. It’s Never Too Late
  8. Lost in Love
  9. Making Love Out of Nothing at All
  10. Once
  11. The One That You Love
  12. The Power of Love
  13. Someone Who Believes in You
  14. Strong Strong Wind
  15. Tonite
  16. Two Less Lonely People in the World
  17. Unchained Melody
  18. What Becomes of the Broken Hearted
  19. Without You

Enjoy…….

December 06, 07 by -FCUK-

2 years ago, back at high school, who would imagine each of our lives will turn out to be like. Everything just happen so fast. It’s just like yesterday that I was playing basketball or football in the school. Now, look at where everyone is. Some has went to Russia, some is going off to USA, some has been to Australia, some are in India or Indonesia, while others are around Malaysia. It all just happen. Just like that, and before you know it, everyone will be getting married and have children. When you take a moment to look back at the days of high school and now, and think about it, trust me, you can’t believe it…

Strangers

December 05, 07 by -FCUK-

Most parents always say to their children - “You must never talk to strangers“. That is what is being taught by most of our parents and sometimes we tend to take their words for granted.

However, when there is no one else you can trust, strangers are all you can trust at times, even if it would risk your life…..
