Rosanne told me once that when we are getting older, we wouldn’t want to be alone. Me, being naive, disagreed with her, but I realise now that what she say is true. Being alone does make one feel happy at times, but humans are not meant to be alone most of the times. We need to socialise. Even animals, like cats and dogs, do wander around alone, looking for a familiar face of their type to feel more comfortable.
The feeling of being alone is sometimes torturing, knowing that there is no one else that you can talk to. Even though family, friends or lover is just a phone call away, the moment of having the joy to see them smile or laugh with you is unseen. Visual and sound is definitely different. However, seeing a person and talking to him/her does not mean that we are feeling comfortable. Being alone does feel sad; finding someone you can trust makes you feel happy; being betrayed by someone whom you trust is the worst. Therefore, sometimes humans tend to prefer to be alone.
That is what my friend, Ah Tuck, always say - “I prefer to be alone“. We usually don’t tell ourselves that we hate being alone, but when you think about having someone whom you trust next to you, makes you feel isolated.
Sometimes having a smile from someone is certainly nice to see. No wonder Wen Yun always say that “A smile makes the world a better place” …….
The Amazing Race Asia is back. Season 2 aires tonight at 9.00 PM on AXN (Channel 701 on Astro). There will be 2 all girl Malaysian teams in the race. The girls in on of the teams, Pamela Chong and Vanessa Chong, are decent looking, which I think it might serve as an advantage for them. You can see their pictures on the website.
There are also no teams from Vietnam and Cambodia. The teams in the race are from Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong and Malaysia. The Philippines teams are quite muscular. I wonder what they eat there. I was expecting at least one homosexual team or teams from Vietnam and Cambodia, which will be quite nice to watch. I’m not discriminating, as they do have the rights in joining such events.
Episode 1 starts tonight on AXN. For more info, please you Google for Amazing Race Asia….
Update: Pamela and Vanessa is currently in 1st place and it was a non-elimination round….
It took me quite some time to finally figure out that a digital camera is necessary, instead of a camera phone. I have decided to get a Canon camera, but I am waiting for funds. I will then decide which model to get, depending on my budget. One of my strategy to get my funds is by saving at least 100 bucks a month and probably by 8 months (hopefully sooner), I can get the money to get my first digital camera. I thought of working at PC Fair in December, but with my procrastination, my assignments are still not done yet. Absolutely terrible. Is there anyone who is willing to sponsor me a camera for blogging purposes? That would be awesome for me.
I will have to practice my patience in order to get my camera. Patience is golden…..
eBay Malaysia has definitely redefined its looks. It’s about time, no, it’s about a long time ago they should have change the outlook of the site. Now it looks more high class and interactive friendly. Being a user of eBay and a Malaysian, the new Malaysian eBay site certainly make me feel a little proud. It shows the spirit Malaysia Boleh.
However, eBay Malaysia has started to charge optional fees on extra features of listing. That is the down side of the new website. Nevertheless, ordinary listing is still for free and that is good enough for me. I do hope that more users will engage into that site and make it more successful than lelong.com.my.
Anyway, a great job done by eBay Malaysia’s management team in bringing the site up to reflect the eBay standards…
It’s the assignment season again, where all the assignments have to be passed up soon. 2 group assignments and 3 individual assignments are due in around 3 weeks or more. Sad to say that I have neither completed any of them yet, nor have I started each assignments. I guess I will be busy again, probably cutting down on blogging too. Anyways, PTQ KL tomorrow at Subang, wish me luck….
This is an advertisement by Vaselin. It is very artistic and meaningfully done, but imagine you are one of the naked people who is in that video. Fun? Cool? Scary? I leave the imagination part to you….
The showdown is tonight, at Emirates Stadium, at 8.45 PM Malaysian time. Tonight we will see who is the strong one standing in this season. It’s the Young Guns versus the Devils. The match will speak for itself and it will definitely be an exciting, considering the long time rivalry.
Roma Pizza Club at Avenue K is a great place to dine. When I first walked in, I have to say that I was a little concern to see that the place was empty, wondering whether it taste delicious. Regardless of how deserted the place looks to me, there was nothing wrong to try a new place.
Food
I ordered a Magarita Pizza and a place of Cabonara Pasta. It was time to fill the stomach to the fullest and enjoy the rest of the evening with satisfaction, if it was good. When the pasta came, it was awesome when I tasted it. The cream was really nice and it tasted really great. I wondered why people don’t really dine in here. Then the pizza came, with a rectangle shape, instead of the good old round shape from Pizza Hut or Domino’s. The pizza was crispy thin and it was lovely to bite them. Seriously, after tasting the pizza and pasta, it was really a risk worth taking to try the shop out.

Price
The price of the food for the portion might not be reasonable to some, but I will feel that it is just nice, knowing that both the pizza and pasta tasted delicious. The pizza was RM 22 and the pasta was RM 13. No doubt you can get cheaper meals to full your stomach to the fullest, but for what was paid, it was really worthed it.
Environment
The environment is no doubt quiet, as there wasn’t any people dining there. But the music being played just got my emotions started with songs from Air Supply to Celine Dion. The music played made the environment even better, especially for those who are on a date. It really made the romantic mood happen.
Verdict
Price for such a delicious meal and environment, and just a light walk away from the LRT exit, Roma Pizza Club serves a delicious and different meal of pizza and pasta……
